How do I view key dates on a contract?
Librari automatically extracts and displays key dates from each contract including the effective date, execution date, and end date.
When Librari processes a contract, it automatically extracts key dates from the document and displays them in the contract detail page. Having quick access to key dates helps you stay on top of renewals, deadlines, and other important milestones without manually reading through the full document.
Where do I find key dates on a contract?
- Open the contract you want to view by clicking on it in your library.
- Make sure you are in Detail View. If you are in Doc View, click the Detail View toggle at the top of the page to switch.
- Find the Key Dates section in the contract sidebar.
What key dates does Librari extract?
Librari extracts the following key dates from each contract:
Effective Date — the date the contract officially comes into force and the rights and obligations of both parties begin.
Execution Date — the date the final required signature was added to the contract.
End Date — the last date the contract is or was scheduled to be in force, including any exercised renewals.
Librari may also extract additional dates depending on the content of the contract, such as payment due dates, notice deadlines, and milestone dates.
What if a key date is missing or incorrect?
Key dates are extracted automatically based on the content of the contract. If a date appears to be missing or incorrect, check the original document in Doc View to confirm the date is present and clearly stated. Can I filter my library by key dates?
Yes. You can filter your contract library by effective date, execution date, and end date using Librari Lens. See "What is Librari Lens and how do I use it?" for more details.
