Where is my contract data stored?

Librari stores an enhanced copy of your contracts and their extracted metadata securely in encrypted cloud storage.

Librari keeps your original documents exactly where they are. We never move or alter them. When a contract is processed, Librari creates an enhanced copy of the PDF if needed, for example adding a text layer for searchability or correcting orientation, and stores it securely in encrypted cloud storage. This is the version you see when viewing a contract inside Librari.

Key information extracted from your contracts, such as parties, dates, and key terms, is stored separately in a secure database and is what powers your contract library, search, and insights.

All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and access follows a least-privilege model to ensure your information is protected at every level.

Where specifically is my data stored?

Librari uses AWS S3 within a Supabase environment for secure cloud storage of enhanced PDFs, and Typesense for storing and indexing contract metadata. All storage environments are encrypted and logically separated from other customers' data.

Who can access my stored data?

Access to your stored data follows a least-privilege model. Only authorized Librari personnel can access your data and only when necessary to deliver the service. All personnel with access are bound by strict confidentiality obligations under Librari's Data Processing Agreement.

What happens to my stored data if I cancel?

If you have questions about what happens to your data after cancellation, contact us at support@thelibrari.com before cancelling and our team will walk you through the process.

Can I review Librari's data storage practices?

Yes. You can review Librari's full Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement at thelibrari.com/legal.
