What is Ask Librari and how do I use it?

Ask Librari lets you ask questions about your contracts in plain language and get answers drawn from your entire library at once. There is no syntax and no setup. Type a question the way you would ask a colleague, and Ask Librari reads across your agreements to answer it.

Where do I find Ask Librari?

Click Ask Librari in the left navigation to open the full Ask Librari page. You can also start a question from the Ask Librari box on your Home screen, where it says "Ask anything about your contracts."

What can I ask Ask Librari?

Anything your contracts can answer. A few examples:

• Which counterparties do we have more than one agreement with, and what is each agreement for?
• Which agreements auto-renew in the next 90 days? Give me the notice window, the notice method, and the date notice has to go out.
• Which agreements have an annual price escalator, CPI adjustment, or uplift cap? Show me the clause and the date it next applies.
• Pull everything we have ever signed with [counterparty], in date order, with the pricing and key terms in each.
• Extract the payment terms from every agreement and flag every one with an early payment discount.
• List every agreement with an uncapped liability exposure.

Can Ask Librari create documents or reports?

Yes. Ask Librari can turn an answer into something you can send. For example, you can ask it to draft a non-renewal notice using the exact notice provision from an agreement, build an obligations calendar for the next two quarters, or create a spreadsheet with one row per agreement showing counterparty, annual value, renewal date, notice deadline, and payment terms.

What are skills?

Skills are one-click shortcuts on your Home screen for common tasks, including Find Renewals, Prep Audit, and Missing NDAs. Click a skill to have Ask Librari run that task across your library.

Tips for getting better answers

Be specific about what you want back, such as the fields, time frame, or sort order. Ask for the  agreement and section behind each answer so you can verify it. Some questions, like comparing a counterparty's first draft to the executed agreement, only work when both versions are in your connected apps.

How is Ask Librari different from Ask Librarian?

Ask Librari works across your entire contract library. Ask Librarian is scoped to a single contract. When you have a contract open, click Ask Librarian in the bottom right corner to ask questions about that specific agreement without leaving the document.

Will Ask Librari show me contracts I do not have access to?

No. Ask Librari only answers from contracts you already have permission to open in your connected apps. It never surfaces a document to someone who could not already open it.

Can I see my past conversations?

Yes. Your recent chats appear on the Ask Librari page so you can pick up where you left off.

Is my contract data used to train the AI?

No. Your contract data is used to generate answers in real time and is never used to train AI models. See "Is my data used to train your AI?" for more details.
