What file types does Librari support?
Librari currently processes PDF files, the most common format for contracts and legal agreements.
Librari currently supports PDF files. When scanning your connected accounts, Librari identifies and processes PDFs, extracting key terms, dates, and metadata from those it recognizes as contracts.
If a contract is stored in another file format, we recommend converting it to PDF before uploading it to your connected app. Most word processors including Google Docs and Microsoft Word allow you to export or save documents directly as PDFs.
Why does Librari only support PDFs?
PDF is the most widely used format for executed contracts and legal agreements. It preserves formatting, prevents unintended edits, and is universally compatible across devices and operating systems. By focusing on PDFs, Librari can reliably extract and analyze contract data at scale.
How do I convert a contract to PDF?
Most word processors make it straightforward to save a document as a PDF. In Google Docs, go to File and select Download as PDF. In Microsoft Word, go to File, select Save As, and choose PDF from the format dropdown. Once converted, upload the PDF to your connected app and Librari will detect and process it automatically.
Will Librari support other file types in the future?
We are always working to expand Librari's capabilities. If support for additional file types is important to your use case, contact us at support@thelibrari.com and let us know.
