What do the contract status types mean?

Librari automatically assigns a status to each contract in your library based on its current state.

When Librari processes a contract, it automatically assigns a status based on the information extracted from the document. Contract status gives you a quick view of where each agreement stands and helps you filter and manage your library more effectively.

What are the different contract status types?

Active The contract is currently in force. The effective date has passed and the end date has not yet been reached.

Inactive The contract is no longer in force but does not fall into another specific status category.

Future The contract has been executed but the effective date has not yet arrived. The agreement is signed but not yet active.

Pending Term A termination notice has been sent and a future termination date has been set. The contract is still active but scheduled to end.

Undetermined Librari was unable to determine the contract status with confidence. This typically occurs when key date information is missing or unclear in the document.

How do I filter by contract status?

You can filter your contract library by status using Librari Lens, the advanced filter modal. Open Librari Lens from your contract library, select Contract Status from the filter options, and choose the status you want to view.

What if a contract has the wrong status?

Contract status is determined automatically based on the dates extracted from the document. If a contract appears to have the wrong status, check the effective date and end date in the Detail View to confirm they were extracted correctly.
