Sync / Partial Sync
The process by which Librari scans your connected apps and imports contracts into your library.
A sync in Librari refers to the process of scanning your connected apps and importing contracts into your library. When you first connect an app, Librari triggers an initial sync that scans all available PDFs, identifies contracts, and extracts key data from each one. After the initial sync is complete, Librari continues to check your connected apps on a regular basis to pick up any new contracts automatically.
A partial sync occurs when Librari has begun processing your contracts but has not yet finished. During a partial sync, recently added or processed contracts are searchable in your library while older documents are still being indexed. You can continue using your library during a partial sync without waiting for it to complete.
Why It Matters Understanding where you are in the sync process helps you know whether your contract library is complete or still being built. If you have connected your apps and your library appears empty or incomplete, checking your sync status is the first step in diagnosing the issue. A partial sync is normal during the initial setup period and does not indicate a problem. It simply means Librari is still working through your documents.
In Practice A team connects their Google Drive account containing 200 contracts. Librari immediately begins scanning and within a few minutes the sync status banner shows Partial Sync. The 50 most recently added contracts are already searchable in the library while the remaining 150 are still being processed. The team can begin searching and reviewing available contracts without waiting for the full sync to complete. When the banner updates to Sync Complete, all 200 contracts are available.
