I just subscribed but I am still being asked to pay — what do I do?

After completing checkout, it can take a few moments for your subscription to activate. Here is what to do if you are still seeing a payment screen.

After completing your subscription purchase, Librari needs a brief moment to process and confirm your payment before your account is fully activated. In most cases this happens instantly, but occasionally there is a short delay between completing checkout and your subscription being recognized.

What to do:

Wait a few moments and refresh the page. In most cases your account will activate automatically within a minute or two of completing checkout.

If you are still seeing a payment screen after refreshing, try signing out and signing back in. This resets your session and often resolves the issue.

If the problem persists after signing back in, contact us at support@thelibrari.com and include the email address associated with your account. Our team will verify your payment and manually activate your subscription if needed.

Want to confirm your payment went through?

Check your email for a receipt from Stripe, our payment processor. If you received a receipt, your payment was successful and the activation delay is likely temporary.

What if I was charged but still cannot access my account?

If you received a payment confirmation from Stripe but are still unable to access your account after following the steps above, contact us at support@thelibrari.com straight away. Include your account email address and the Stripe receipt and our team will resolve it promptly.

What if I accidentally paid twice?

If you see more than one charge on your account, do not attempt to purchase again. Contact us at support@thelibrari.com and we will investigate and issue a refund if applicable.
