When Librari processes a contract, it automatically generates an AI-powered summary of the key terms and provisions. The summary gives you a quick overview of what the contract covers without needing to read the full document.
How do I view the AI summary of a contract?
You can access the AI summary from two places in Librari:
From the contract library:
- Find the contract you want to view in your library.
- Click the Summary button on the contract row.
- The AI summary will appear instantly.
From the contract detail page:
- Open the contract by clicking on it in your library.
- Make sure you are in Detail View. If you are in Doc View, click the Detail View toggle at the top of the page to switch.
- Find the Summary section in the contract sidebar.
What does the AI summary include?
The AI summary provides a plain language overview of the contract's key terms and provisions. It also displays the Governing Law and Jurisdiction badges so you can quickly see which legal framework applies to the agreement.
How accurate is the AI summary?
The AI summary is generated automatically based on the content of the contract. It is designed to give you a quick and accurate overview of the key terms. If you need to verify specific details, we recommend reviewing the relevant section of the original document in Doc View.
Can I edit the AI summary?
The AI summary is generated automatically and cannot be edited. If you want to add your own commentary or context to a contract, use the Notes feature. See "How do I add, edit, and delete notes on a contract?" for more details.
