How do I add, edit, and delete notes on a contract?

Notes let you add free-text annotations to any contract in your library, with author and date attribution for every entry.

Notes in Librari allow you and your team to add free-text annotations to any contract in your library. Each note is attributed to the team member who created it and includes the date it was added, making it easy to track commentary and context over time.

How do I add a note to a contract?

You can add a note from two places in Librari:

From the contract library:

  1. Find the contract you want to add a note to in your library.
  2. Click the Note button on the contract row.
  3. Type your note in the text field.
  4. Click Save to add the note to the contract.

From the contract detail page:

  1. Open the contract you want to add a note to by clicking on it in your library.
  2. Find the Notes section in the contract sidebar.
  3. Click Add Note.
  4. Type your note in the text field.
  5. Click Save to add the note to the contract.

How do I edit a note?

  1. Open the contract containing the note you want to edit.
  2. Find the note in the Notes section of the contract sidebar.
  3. Click Edit next to the note you want to update.
  4. Make your changes in the text field.
  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

How do I delete a note?

  1. Open the contract containing the note you want to delete.
  2. Find the note in the Notes section of the contract sidebar.
  3. Click Delete next to the note you want to remove.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Can I edit or delete another team member's note?

Notes are attributed to the team member who created them. If you need to edit or delete a note created by another team member, contact us at support@thelibrari.com and our team will assist you.

Are notes visible to all team members?

Yes. Notes are visible to all team members on your account. They are designed to be a shared space for commentary and context across your contract library.
