Does Librari store copies of my contracts?

Your original files stay exactly where they are. Librari reads your contracts but does not move or store them.

Librari does not store copies of your original contracts. Your files stay exactly where they are in your connected apps. Librari reads your contracts to extract metadata and generate insights, but does not move, copy, or store your original documents.

What does Librari store?

When Librari processes a contract, it creates an enhanced version of the PDF if needed — for example, adding a text layer for searchability — and stores it securely in encrypted cloud storage. This enhanced copy is what you see when viewing a contract inside Librari. Your original file in your connected app is never touched or altered.

Librari also stores the metadata and key information extracted from your contracts, such as party names, dates, contract value, and governing law. This is what powers your searchable contract library, filters, and AI insights.

Is my data secure?

All data stored by Librari is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access follows a least-privilege model, meaning only authorized personnel can access your data, and only when necessary to deliver the service. You can review Librari's full security practices at thelibrari.com/security.

What happens to my stored data if I cancel?

If you have questions about what happens to your data after cancellation, contact us at support@thelibrari.com before cancelling and our team will walk you through the process.
