What does Librari actually store?
When a contract is processed, Librari creates an enhanced copy of the PDF if needed — for example, adding a text layer for searchability or correcting orientation — and stores it securely in encrypted cloud storage. This is the version you see when viewing a contract inside Librari. Your original file in your connected app is never touched.
Key information extracted from your contracts, such as parties, dates, and key terms, is stored separately in a secure database. This is what powers your contract library, search, and insights.
What happens to my data if I disconnect an app?
If you disconnect an app from Librari, your existing contract library remains intact. The enhanced copies and extracted metadata Librari has already processed stay in your library and remain fully accessible. Librari simply stops monitoring that app for new contracts going forward.
