Does Librari affect my existing file permissions?

Librari respects your existing permissions exactly as they are. No sharing settings are ever modified.

Librari respects your existing file-level permissions exactly as they are. If someone does not have access to a document in your connected apps, they will not see it in Librari either. Existing sharing settings are never modified.

What does this mean in practice?

When you connect Google Drive, Gmail, or DocuSign to Librari, your existing permission structure carries over automatically. Librari does not grant any new access to your files, does not modify who can see what, and does not change any sharing settings in your connected apps. The only thing that changes is that Librari can now read your contracts to extract data and build your library.

What about team members on my Librari account?

Team members on your Librari account can only see contracts that are already shared with them in your connected apps. If a contract in your Google Drive is not shared with a colleague, they will not be able to see it in Librari even if they are on the same Librari account. Your existing file permissions are the single source of truth for contract visibility.

What if I want to change who can see a contract?

Update the sharing settings in the connected app where the contract lives. Those changes will be reflected in Librari automatically. No changes need to be made within Librari itself.
